Hi! I’m Leanna, but everyone calls me Leels. I’m the cook, writer, and photographer behind LeelsCooks.com, where I share approachable, flavour-forward recipes with beautiful photos and simple, no-nonsense instructions.
I spent seven years cooking professionally in Vancouver, BC, learning techniques, flavour combinations, and the kitchen intuition that shape every recipe I publish. Since then, life has taken me from Montreal to Raleigh, North Carolina, and finally back home to small town Ontario, Canada, where my wife and our very opinionated cats keep me company in the kitchen.
My goal is simple:
